Homer and Ned in Vegas is a classic episode and was responsible for bringing the term 'Vegas mom' into Simpsons-cult vernacular. While season ten doesn't do much in the way of introducing new characters of altering what was, at the time at least, the Springfield status-quo it definitely contains some stand-out episodes that have gone on to become popular amongst fans of the series. The recent success of their first theatrical film further proves their popularity. The longest running animated sit-com of all time has gone on to become as identifiable as The Flintstones or The Jetsons and the clever writing and interesting cast of characters ensures that the series is just as vital and popular today as it was when it first began to air a decade and a half ago. The Simpsons is a huge part of our collective pop culture.
